Systems Integration Engineer (Avionics & Electronics)
About Us:
Greenjets is developing next-generation aviation platforms to redefine sustainable flight. We operate at the intersection of hardware, software, and high-performance systems engineering—moving fast from concept to flight.
We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer (Avionics & Electronics) to take ownership of integrating, validating, and troubleshooting critical aircraft electrical and electronic systems across build and test environments.
This role is open to a range of experience levels, from Graduate to Senior Engineer. We're looking to hire multiple Engineers with this skillset.
About the Job:
This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on electrical and avionics systems integration, validation, and test.
You will work across the full lifecycle—from system integration, installation and wiring through to ground and flight test—ensuring systems perform reliably under real-world conditions.
You’ll be embedded in a fast-paced engineering and test environment, working closely with mechanical, flight test, and systems teams to deliver fully integrated aircraft ready for operation.
What You'll Do:
Avionics & Electrical Integration
Integrate avionics, electrical, and electronic subsystems into aircraft platforms
Install, terminate, and route wiring harnesses, looms, and connectors
Ensure correct interfacing between sensors, control systems, power systems, and communication units
Validate system integration against schematics, interface definitions, and specifications
Systems Test & Validation
Execute functional testing of electrical and electronic systems at component and system level
Perform power-on checks, signal validation, and system diagnostics
Support development and execution of test procedures for avionics and electrical systems
Identify, isolate, and resolve integration and system-level issues
Flight Test & Debug
Provide hands-on support during ground and flight test campaigns
Troubleshoot avionics and electrical faults in real time
Support rapid turnaround between test flights through efficient fault resolution
Work closely with flight test engineers and operators to ensure system performance
Diagnostics & Problem Solving
Diagnose faults across electrical, avionics, and integrated systems
Use test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, data logging tools) to investigate issues
Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Desirable Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:
Hands-on experience with electrical/electronic systems integration
Experience working with wiring harnesses, connectors, and avionics hardware
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
Experience in system-level testing, debugging, or validation
Experience in aviation, UAVs, automotive, or robotics
Exposure to flight test or field testing environments
Understanding of avionics systems or embedded electronics
Experience in fast-paced hardware development teams
