The Role
Greenjets are looking for an experienced Logistics & Dispatch Manager to lead outbound logistics, dispatch operations and shipment execution across a fast-paced operational environment.
You’ll manage the Receipts & Dispatch team, coordinate domestic and international shipments, and ensure goods are prepared, documented and dispatched safely, compliantly and on time. Acting as the key link between carriers, freight forwarders, brokers and internal teams, you’ll play a critical role in building a resilient and scalable logistics capability.
Lead and develop the Receipts & Dispatch function
Coordinate UK and international shipments via road, air and courier services
Manage freight bookings, shipment tracking and delivery schedules
Prepare and check shipping and customs documentation
Resolve dispatch issues, delays and customs queries
Ensure packaging, staging and shipment readiness standards are maintained
Support continuous improvement across logistics and dispatch processes
Maintain accurate shipment records and operational reporting
What We’re Looking For
5+ years’ experience in logistics, dispatch, shipping or supply chain operations
Previous experience leading teams or operational workflows
Strong knowledge of shipment coordination and transport documentation
Experience working with freight forwarders, brokers and carriers
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
Calm under pressure with a proactive, hands-on approach
Desirable
Manufacturing, aerospace, engineering or high-value goods experience
Import/export and customs knowledge
Understanding of Incoterms and dangerous goods processes
ERP or shipment management systems experience
