About the Job:
You will support manufacturing activities across tooling design, process development, assembly systems and production improvement initiatives. The role offers exposure to the full product lifecycle; from prototype builds through to production ramp-up, with opportunities to take ownership of projects and develop rapidly within the business.
Responsibilities
Support the development and optimisation of manufacturing and assembly processes
Assist in the design and implementation of tooling, fixtures and assembly aids
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions and process flows
Collaborate with design engineering to improve manufacturability and assembly efficiency
Support production builds, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities
Help develop production systems, layouts and manufacturing controls
Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities
Work with suppliers and internal teams to support tooling and production readiness
Contribute to lean manufacturing and industrialisation initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Understanding of manufacturing and assembly principles
CAD experience (3DX strongly preferred)
Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment
Interest in aerospace, advanced manufacturing or propulsion systems
Desirable
Placement, internship or industry experience within manufacturing or engineering
Exposure to tooling, assembly or production engineering environments
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods
Experience creating technical documentation or process instructions
