About the Job:
Greenjets is seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Business Development Associate to support commercial and customer engagement activities across the business.
This role is suited to an organised and entrepreneurial individual who is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and supporting a broad range of business development activities. You will work closely with senior business development and leadership team members to support customer engagement, opportunity tracking, trade events, CRM management and preparation of commercial materials.
The role requires strong communication skills, initiative and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
What You'll Do:
You will support the preparation of customer-facing presentations, commercial materials and briefing packs tailored to specific customer or prospect requirements
You will support the development, maintenance and organisation of the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring records, contacts, activities and opportunities are maintained accurately
You will coordinate Greenjets’ participation in trade shows, conferences and industry events, including logistics, preparation of materials and follow-up of contacts and leads generated during events
You will support scheduling and coordination of meetings, appointments and discovery calls for senior business development team members and leadership
You will assist with customer and prospect relationship management activities, maintaining responsive and professional communication with external stakeholders and supporting follow-up actions where required
You will support collaboration between business development and internal departments including engineering, programme delivery, logistics and operations to help ensure alignment between customer expectations and delivery capability
You will contribute to monitoring, reporting and competitor analysis activities, helping maintain visibility of market activity, customer engagement and commercial opportunities
You will support the preparation of reports, pipeline summaries, sales forecasts and other commercial metrics for internal stakeholders
You will assist with nurturing qualified leads and supporting the progression of opportunities through the business development pipeline
The role will involve travel to customer sites, trade events and partner locations across Europe and the UK as required.
Desirable Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:
Holding (or working towards) a relevant qualification in Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Management, Aviation, or a related discipline
Previous experience in business development, sales support, customer engagement, consulting, marketing or project coordination is advantageous but not essential
Interest in aerospace, defence, unmanned systems or advanced technology sectors is highly desirable
Demonstrating an entrepreneurial, proactive mindset with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders
Applying analytical and structured thinking, supported by strong research and information-gathering abilities
Demonstrating a basic understanding of business development and sales processes, with the ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team
Fluency in German and English is required
Location and Employment
The role is based in Munich, with regular collaboration across international teams and travel to customer and partner sites across Europe and the UK.
The position may be offered as a permanent role or internship / early-career development position depending on experience and availability.
